Business Development Executive

Salary: Up to £30,000p.a. basic with an OTE of around £45-50k

Location: Near Ely

Benefits: 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays, company pension, private healthcare,

Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious sales professional to join an established and expanding internal sales team. You will be responsible for researching and identifying new business opportunities and booking in appointments for the External Sales team to attend.

Working closely with the Senior External Business Development Executive and the Internal Sales Manager your duties will predominately be making outbound calls to promote the companies IT software.

Duties include:

  • Researching and identifying new business opportunities within the healthcare market
  • Calling prospective customers over the telephone, achieving set KPI's and targets
  • Following up on leads and cross selling and up selling where appropriate
  • Gaining strong and long lasting business relationships with all potential customers, sometimes this involves several people within one sales transaction
  • Updating and maintaining the internal database

Our client is looking for :

  • Strong experience in telesales, cold calling, new business development or account management is required.
  • Must have previous background selling IT software within the public sector
  • A confident and ambitious individual that has worked towards KPI's and achieved sales targets
