The Online Marketing Manager is a key role in driving the growth of websites. Working for a major international player, this role will have responsibility for maximising profitability through the growth of sessions, revenue and market share across a variety of channels, including Organic, Paid Search, Google Shopping, Affiliates, Social and Remarketing.


  • Responsible for Sales Promotion budget
  • Maximising traffic and revenue through Sales Promotion channels
  • Working in the wider Global Online Marketing team of fourteen


The International Online Marketing Manager reports into a Region Lead Online Marketing Manager and is key in the creation and execution of a localised online marketing plan to deliver ambitious growth targets across websites. This role requires a close working relationship with other Online Marketing teams as well as other internal departments (Country Managers, Translation and Customer Services)

  • Create, own and deliver a localised online marketing plan
  • Maximise sales and profitability across country market
  • Grow market share in market across country market
  • Execute paid search, affiliate and display campaigns
  • Work with Country Managers and Translation team to ensure traffic generating opportunities are maximised
  • Develop and optimise affiliate program
  • Identify new third party partners to increase external visibility of content
  • Leverage placement buying efficiencies across the group
  • Regular analysis of campaign performance
  • Close working relationship with subject experts to ensure latest technologies and best practices are adopted
  • Identify opportunities to achieve revenue growth targets
  • Own content plan to help grow organic traffic
  • Other work as required by the team
  • 1+ year paid search experience
  • Experience in using Online Marketing platforms (such Google Analytics, Google Adwords)
  • Basic understand of how search engines work and interact with websites
  • Some experience of bid management tools a plus
  • Written / spoken language skills for another European language an advantage
  • Retail or e-commerce experience desirable
  • Be able to work effectively with minimal direction
  • Ability to multi task across a number of channels and projects
