A growing organisation in Hastings are looking for a Financial Controller to join and manage their busy team.
As Financial Controller you will be responsible for:
Managing the staff in the finance department ensuring all deadlines are met in relation to finance and payroll routines
Maintain all insurances held by the company and review annually ensuring best value for money is obtained
- Ensure all annual contracts agreed with suppliers are recorded and kept securely, ensure that such contracts are renegotiated when due for renewal
- Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations
- To coordinate ongoing fund raising or bid management to provide additional levels of income generation or funds for project improvements within the business
The successful candidate must be a part qualified or working towards an accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA). Strong IT skills including in particular Excel and Word and Sage accounts
