Our superb insurance based client is seeking a Business Development Executive to join their team in Guildford.

Full Time (Monday - Friday, 9am - 5.30pm)

Basic Salary £20-35K Per Annum Basic (depending upon experience)

+ Benefits + Commission/Bonus

The Candidate

  • MUST have experience of B2B sales or must have worked in a regulated enviornment.

  • Must be experienced at telephone business development and be comfortable with cold-calling (ideally

    2 - 3 years’ experience).

  • Positive, Pro-active, organised and Professional approach with good verbal and written communication

    and sales skills.

  • Ability to use MS Outlook, Word, Excel, basic PowerPoint and internet browsing/search engines is

  • Experience of using Contact Management/Sales Management Systems an advantage.

  • Flexible approach, as due to business needs sometimes earlier starts or late finishes, or rare weekend

    input may be required.

The role

  • Telephone and online B2B prospecting to identify, make contact and follow-up with new UK

    intermediaries, affiliates and distribution channels

  • Telephone B2B prospecting to identify, make contact and follow-up with key distribution partners

  • Primarily office based (but may require occasional short-period travel in the UK or overseas if


  • Providing agency support to existing brokers - helping with quotes, questions, applications.

  • Seeking to develop business levels with existing brokers.

  • Handling insured customer enquiries, quotations and applications.

  • Assisting with customer renewal process and offering re-quotes.

  • Reporting to the Sales Director, and working as part of a small, friendly and dynamic sales and broker support team.
