Private Client Tax Assistant Manager/Manager

Location: Central London

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and CTA Qualified Private Client Tax A.M with a strong knowledge of Trusts who will be responsible for working very closely with the Partner on an exciting portfolio of clients consisting of SMEs and Groups from a wide variety of industry sectors.

This is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to join a leading Top 50 firm of chartered accountants in a challenging and varied role where there will be genuine prospects for career development and progression. Our client is looking for an ambitious individual, who can work on their own initiative. The advantage of working for this firm is that there is clear scope for progression into a management role for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate will currently be an experienced, Fully Qualified Private Client Tax Supervisor or Assistant Manager ready step up into a Managerial role and able to manage and develop an existing portfolio. Responsibilities

Manage and develop a portfolio of tax clients and assist in other areas of tax work which comprises all personal tax compliance, planning and advisory

Manage the client process from start to finish and be responsible for your own deadlines and costs and billing the clients

Liaise with HMRC on a daily basis

Have knowledge and experience of inheritance tax, remuneration tax planning, overseas taxation issues, HNWI and groups with technical research and a strong knowledge of Trusts

Manage, train and delegate work to the juniors within the department, reviewing and reporting on their progress made

Liaise closely with the Private Client Tax Partner

Essential Personal Skills And Attributes

Excellent interpersonal skills are essential in order to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels. Strong communication skills are vital.

Must be CTA qualified with experience working in practice.
