Orka Financial is currently working with a top UK service provider who is looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant. This role sits within their finance team and reports directly into the department accountant. As part of the team, you will be supporting the finance community, Head Office finance and the business in general. This is a varied role with some of the responsibilities being;

• Raising budgets in SAP
• Assisting with production of month end reports
• Maintaining the fixed asset register (including preparing and posting monthly depreciation)
• Reconciling the General Ledger to Asset Register
• Preparing and positing journal entries
• Assisting with monthly closings and preparation of monthly financial statements
• Handling audit requests
• Inputting PO’s
• Any other ad hoc duties

To be considered for this role, you will be currently studying towards an accounting qualification and have a minimum of 1 years’ experience within a varied role. Experience of month end procedures and SAP would be of an advantage.
