Are you a technically strong Senior Manager, with superb Client Management skills, looking to join a firm where you can position yourself to become a future Partner?

We are seeking an exceptional Partner Designate with substantial public practice experience and a skill set incorporating both Accounting & Audit. Our client is seeking a natural business winner with strong business development skills to join the senior management team within their successful Cambridgeshire accountancy firm.

The ideal candidate will have exposure to International Audit work, and be confident in advising a mixed client portfolio including SME's and corporate entities. In-depth knowledge of the accounting and tax compliance required for small businesses' is essential.

In return you will gain exposure to a varied client portfolio, with some high profile clients, as well as being able to leverage the strong reputation of the firm in order to build your own client base. Duties include:

* Responsibility for leading Audit work for a diverse clients base, including Charities
* Reviewing work in progress, monitoring deadlines and budgets
* Attending meetings with new and prospective clients
* Completion and review of personal and corporation tax returns
* Providing a general tax advisory service to SME clients (with support from the Tax team where required)
* Business Development and Networking activities
* Managing a varied portfolio of non-Audit clients (Accounting & Tax compliance)
* Mentoring and training of other members of the team

The perfect Audit & Accounts Partner Designate will be ACCA/ACA qualified with a minimum of 5 years' experience of working within a busy public practice accountancy firm (some within Audit). Confidence in communicating with clients at all levels is imperative, along with a strong desire to exceed service expectations. You will need to be able to plan, lead and complete on audits, including being confident with group consolidations. Leadership skills are required to manage and develop a team of technical staff, whilst looking after a portfolio of clients.

This role would suit a Senior Accountant or Audit Manager looking to progress into a more challenging role.
