Are you a History Teacher that knows a lot about the past and looking to make a difference to your students futures?

The successful History Teacher will be available to join this school in September on a full-time, permanent contract and you will be required to deliver the national curriculum up to GCSE. You will be teaching classes of mixed ability students within a vibrant, inner-city secondary school where approximately 40% of students speak English as an additional language. As History Teacher you will joining a department that is well establish and always over achieves expectations which was proven in their 2016 GCSE results where 76% of students received an A* - C in History.

Ideally you will be a qualified History Teacher with a relevant degree and qualified teacher status following the completion of your teacher training placements. You must have a strong subject knowledge, the ability to teach History to GCSE and possess qualities such as; resilience, a passion for teaching and a determination for your students to succeed with your guidance.
