Surveying Manager - Field Based - South West
Your new company
You will be working for one of the market leaders in consultancy Building Surveying providing a comprehensive service to the market across insurance claims management and loss adjusting, asset management and condition surveys. With teams set up across the UK and Ireland, you will become a part of a regional management team looking to grow revenue over the next 5 years, a target by which you will become a pivotal part of achieving in this role.
Your new role
You will manage a team of up to 10 surveyors who are involved in numerous projects at any one time involving both commercial and residential properties and projects ranging in value from 20K through to £1M. Your team are involved in a wide range of activities from technical reporting, defect diagnosis and preparation of schedules of work through to project management.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role you will ideally have prior experience managing a team of surveyors, or have previously worked in a senior or team lead role. You will have the ability to develop new relationships and have knowledge of building construction and relevant legislation. To be considered for this position, you should also be MRICS chartered with 2 - 5 years post qualification experience (MCIOB also considered).
