SALARY: £25,000- £37,500 Basic, Annual Company Bonus up to 8% of Salary

JOB SPECIFICATION - Internal Sales Engineer - Electrical, Electronic Components to OEMs

This classic internal technical sales role which has come about as a result of expansion/ promotion involves dealing with all technical enquiries, assessing their potential and viability, quoting, following up on quotes, and liaising with customers and suppliers on delivery dates. Also liaising with the field sales team (with some dual/ field visits with them). You will also do your own proactive sales activity to generate new business and build on existing relationships developing sales of the company’s range of electronic/ electronic components regarding overcurrent protection to a very wide range of OEMs across defence, aerospace, automotive, general industrial equipment, process control automation packaging machinery, rail, oil/gas, medical equipment, telecoms and datacomms amongst others. There will also be all associated administration and some marketing responsibilities, but this is a mainly a
sales focussed role which carries genuine prospects for you to progress to a full field sales role.

REQUIREMENTS - Internal Sales Engineer - Electrical, Electronic Components to OEMs

For this varied and challenging role which is a potentially rewarding one in terms of career prospects to field sales if you wish, you will ideally have experience in a similar internal or office based technical field sales engineer position; but the company will definitely consider applications from graduates in electronic or electrical engineering with drive, determination and excellent communication a real desire to get into technical sales.
