The company is a well-known global art fair who have launched an online marketplace allowing customers to sell and buy art anytime.

This role reports to the Ecommerce Director and forms a core part of the ecommerce team. You’ll be responsible for the marketing strategy, including on-­-site content, retention and acquisition. With responsibility for driving traffic and sales, the candidate will be a strategic thinker, excellent communicator, strong project manager, and be excited by new challenges and introducing change.

Key Features

  • Lead the planning and execution of the marketing strategy to drive art sales online, gathering input from fair teams when relevant
  • Develop and manage the contact strategy (email and social) in collaboration with the fair teams
  • Set up and management of ecommerce related email automation work flows, such as welcome, engagement, re-­-engagement, up-­-sell and abandoned cart
  • Manage all digital marketing channels, including SEO, PPC, social, display, DBM and affiliates, working with agencies and fair teams where relevant
  • Oversee the on-­-site marketing and produce engaging content to support campaigns and develop awareness of our offering
  • Set up and application of cross-­-domain tracking dependent on campaign requirements
  • Analyse the performance of product merchandising
  • Building our customer knowledge through research and data analysis
  • Evaluating the customer journey and work with the team to ensure optimal end to end UX
  • Creation of testing and reporting structures, KPI analysis and data insight, along with recommendations for continual commercial improvement ensuring ROI is maximised

Profile

  • Hands on digital marketing experience covering acquisition, retention and re-­-engagement in an ecommerce environment
  • Knowledge of either the events, consumer retail or art market in the UK and some international experience
  • Experience of delivering new marketing projects
  • Expertise in relevant systems, eg. Salesforce, MailChimp, Magento, AdWords
  • Understanding of HTML and CCS is desirable
