Location: Hexham, Northumberland
Service Type: Private Hospital for adults with learning disabilities
Salary: £37,000 - £39,000 per annum depending on experience + excellent benefits
Type of contract: Permanent, full-time position

Job Description:
We currently have a fantastic managerial opportunity available for an experienced, passionate and competent mental health nurse ( RMN ) or learning disability nurse ( RNLD ) to join a reputable private hospital based in Hexham. This Hospital provides assessment and treatment for adults with learning disabilities and associated complex needs, such as mental health needs and challenging behaviour. Some may be detained under the Mental Health Act.

The service users living here may be admitted directly from the community, their own home or supported living, or they may be stepping down from a more secure setting. The focus of the hospital is to provide high quality person-centred care to rehabilitate and improve the users’ health and well-being, always aiming for positive outcomes. They have achieved a very positive reputation, achieving an excellent, fully-compliant CQC report. We are looking for an experienced nurse to work as a Deputy Manager; you will be responsible for leading the clinical team, assisting the Hospital Manager with the day-to-day running of the hospital, and generally ensuring that excellent care standards are upheld.

For this Deputy Manager position, we are looking for a highly-skilled, experienced and motivated Registered Nurse (both RMN and RNLD nurses are welcome to apply). We are looking for applicants with strong managerial / supervisory skills as well as good communication, organisational and interpersonal skills. You will need to have a proactive approach to working, to ensure that patients are provided with the best possible care and the CQC compliance is maintained.
