Senior Product Manager Europe London

My client a leading International Market Research & Consumer Insight consultancy are currently looking to hire and experienced Senior Product Manager into their London team. My client help some of the Worlds leading brands and retailers better understand consumer behaviour with a range of cutting edge Consumer Trackers and digital/mobile research platforms.

As a Senior Product Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of information & consumer tracking products across several Key industries. You will interact closely with many functions in the organisation, as well as senior management and clients. Developing a deep understanding of clients, their expectations, the market and the competitor landscape, you will define strategies to ensure the company product portfolios evolve and remain competitive. A further focus of this role will be the planning and implementation of product enhancements and the development of new products.

The Role: ?

Work in close partnership with various departments to achieve revenue and profit objectives

Identify opportunities for new products, product enhancements and process improvements that lead to revenue growth and/or increased profitability.

Support the efforts to satisfy clients’ expectations. ?

Define product strategy, pricing and positioning. You actively plan and drive the successful execution of product enhancements and new product developments. ?

Go to Market:

Execute the product strategy, pricing and positioning.

Develop and/or maintain compelling marketing and sales support materials.

Develop the positioning and differentiation of the company products in the market and explain product benefits to clients. ?

Mentor fellow team members in developing their skills and expertise ?

Liaise with Product counterparts in the US to ensure coordination and alignment.

Required Experience ?

Demonstrated proficiency in the use / analysis and methodology of consumer tracking and ad hoc consumer studies ?

You have acquired significant experience in product development and management as well as project management. ?

You have worked at least 7-10 years with Consumer data. Experience in Digital/Mobile research a plus. ?

Strong ability to lead and work in autonomy with remote contacts. ?

Highly organised, you have the ability to plan, monitor and execute plans on time and within budget. ?

With a collaborative approach you demonstrate leadership with colleagues inside and outside your immediate team, internationally and cross-functionally, and are able to build strong working relationships. ?

Demonstrate strong analytical and creative thinking skills and act decisively on opportunities or problems. ?

Detail oriented, but with eye on the big picture - the final application, you are able to translate clients’ needs/issues into strategies and actionable solutions. ?

A persuasive presence with a strong client orientation.

Excellent communication skills within a cross-cultural and cross functional environment.
