Working within the Sales & Marketing Excellence team for Canon UK & Ireland the role of the Sales Enablement Professional is to drive the delivery of key channel facing marketing activity.

Using your knowledge in managing complex stakeholder groups, you will be working to ensure delivery of the best sales communications, content and enablement initiatives for Canon UK & Ireland so that Canon direct, indirect and Partner sales people receive the right information and support at the right time in order to optimise sales performance.

What We Give:

You will use your excellent communication skills to review and monitor Sales Enablement content within Sales portals, and lead creation of new local content within input from Sales, Marketing, L&D and Marketing Services.

You will be directly responsible for proposal content and adoption, steering and advising on design of style and business rules required for an effective proposal flow. Your experience of sales content delivery will help you analyse the quality, completeness, relevance and usage of the local content for proposals in line with professional proposal management practice.

Working closely with the Sales community, you'll be managing channel specific programmes, incentives and promotions so the ability to build relationships and command respect from the sales community is key.

You will also work closely with your colleagues in the Marketing & Sales Excellence team, creating and maintaining an activity calendar and dashboard and project managing channel events.

What We Ask:
You will ideally have a good knowledge of sales channels in a B2B environment and a proven track record of delivering commercial success within a sales and/or marketing background.

A Marketing qualification is preferred

You'll be competent in using Excel - analyse and display data, create insights, develop compelling and viable business cases, and track success.

You'll be competent to advanced PowerPoint skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

A full clean driving license is necessary as travel may be expected
You Will Need:

You will have excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills, and understand the importance of building trust based relationships based on your commercial acumen and delivery of results. Your outstanding verbal and written communication skills will support the content delivery aspects of the role.

Project and time management skills are also required to successfully deliver longer term projects alongside the day to day operational needs of the business.

Salary: £38,250 + 10% Bonus
