Reed Accountancy & Finance are currently working with a well-established and reputable client within the charitable sector who are recruiting for an Accounts Administrator to join their team. This is a full time permanent opportunity.

The Role:

Working as part of a team within accounts, the role will play an important part in the preparation and input of financial data.

More specific duties will involve:

Cash Book Management
Petty Cash Management including processing petty cash cheques
Making and recording of Lodgements to various bank accounts
Journal preparation and data input to the financial systems
Assisting with or undertaking financial audits and petty cash inspections
Liaising with bank regarding encashment facilities and other banking issues
Providing ad hoc reports, investigation or analysis as required
Undertake any other duties as may be required by the Finance Department

The Person

Candidates will have experience of processing high volume workloads, with have previous experience working in a finance function and will have good systems experience to include MS Excel, Word & Outlook.

Candidates will have excellent organisational skills together with the ability to work unsupervised and within tight deadlines.

Candidates will have 5 GCSE’s at Grade C or above (or equivalent) to include Mathematics and English.
