Programme Supply Chain Manager
The Programme Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for setting up a robust supply chain for a large-scale procurement and contract management project.
Specific Job Responsibilities of the Programme Supply Chain Manager;
Develop an informed, visible portfolio supply chain that works efficiently across both projects and at a programme level.
Implement an approach that identifies and manages supply chain risks and opportunities.
Focus on the successful delivery of a highly complex, multi-billion pound commercial and delivery programme.
Development of engagement strategies, tools, procurement process support, data analysis and the transfer of SCM capabilities into the client and delivery teams.
Personal Specification of the Programme Supply Chain Manager;
Degree qualified or equivalent.
Additional professional qualifications would be an advantage e.g. CIPS.
Experience of Procurement / Supply Chain Management within the Aerospace or Defence Industry would be preferred.
Knowledge of e-Sourcing and Contract Management tools.
Understanding of Complex Supply Chains. Extensive knowledge of risk management.
Proven Project Management experience.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Flexibility to travel to meet with suppliers as required both in the UK and Internationally.
This role would suit an individual with previous experience in the following roles; Supplier Manager, Senior Buyer, Supply Chain Manager, Procurement Manager, Supply Manager.
