A well-known French-inspired restaurant located right in the centre of London is looking for a Sous Chef. The cuisine is based on classical techniques with a modern twist. The food here is done right, respecting standards and refinement in the mis en place process yet presented in a slightly more casual manner. The kitchen environment is friendly, supportive and a team that is very passionate about food!

The Head Chef leads by example and is a great mentor to all the chefs in the brigade. It's a tightly knit team, but very welcoming at the same time.

The restaurant serves up to 80 covers per service.

As Sous Chef here, you will be an integral part of management and must ensure that the kitchen is well organised, food is sent out at excellent award-winning, fine dining standards whilst motivating the team to drive. The Sous Chef must treat all staff with respect, communicate well and build an excellent relationship with the Head chef.

The Sous Chef we are looking for:

  • Michelin or Rosette background essential
  • Leads by example
  • Excellent attention to detail, precise knife and plating skills
  • Experience in kitchen management - staff training, ordering, stock control, running the pass
