Touchstone are a growing organisation with an expanding portfolio of properties. We are looking for a Senior Property Manager to join our Leeds based team. Working with a Places for People Investment Fund portfolio which will initially be in excess of 1300 properties you will manage a busy team supporting them with their development and growth.

What your role will be

You will become the line manager and escalation point for a team of around 5 Property Managers and Property Administrators. Your primary duty will be to support the team in their roles, getting the best out of them, providing support and training to ensure customer satisfaction from our clients.
As a Senior Property Manager you will become a subject matter expert and be able to provide guidance on our own internal procedures and compliance as well as legislation relating to landlords and tenancies.
Reporting into one of our Operational Managers you will drive forward the team ensuring KPI’s and targets relating to occupancy, rental growth and collections and expenditure are exceeded.

Your background

This duties of the role focus on the leadership and support of a team, ideally you will have experience within a team leader or managerial role. The ability to build strong relationships with excellent communications skills are essential in this post.
As a point of escalation for the team you will handle more complex issues, including complaints to ensure satisfactory and timely resolution. The ability to work well in potentially difficult situations would be highly beneficial.  Experience working within a property environment is desirable with a background of landlord and tenant legislation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a supportive and innovative approach along with engendering a positive team spirit.
