We are delighted to be supporting our client, on an exclusive basis, in the recruitment of a Payroll Supervisor to manage and maintain an efficient and legally compliant payroll function; overseeing the administration of multiple payrolls and the accurate and timely processing of payments. You will have in-depth experience dealing with complex and varied payrolls, particularly offshore payrolls and International payroll experience also. Advanced Excel skills are required with extensive experience of using Payroll software. Duties will include: Plan and prioritise day-to-day job functions of payroll team and coordinate activities for special projects Manage payment exceptions including: bonuses, maternity/paternity, sickness pay etc. Manage salary deductions including: student loans, court orders etc. Month end reporting, journal entries for finance department Manage all year-end payroll activities including production of P11Ds, P60s and national equivalents Oversee processing of training expenses and Training Compensation payments Process any other ad-hoc forms i.e. P45s as required Obtain appropriate management approvals for finalised payrolls Support corporate benefits team with pension reporting Ensure payroll is compliant with all statutory requirements regarding taxation, reporting Support the Company with internal and external audits, providing requested information in a timely and professional manner Liaise closely with corporate treasury team to ensure bank file uploads completed prior to payroll deadlines Liaise with third parties in the preparation of foreign tax calculations Maintain security and confidentiality of payroll department at all times Support, encourage and mentor team; provide clarity regarding expectation and support development efforts to ensure they have the skills and opportunity to develop in their current role and prepare for career progression Take personal responsibility for own continued professional development and undertake any training as required You will be highly organised and able to meet deadlines, be an effective communicator with good interpersonal skills and proactive in your approach.
