Shopological is looking for an exceptional Social Media and Digital Content Editor to join the exciting, fast-growing start-up in Moorgate, London.

Working with some of the UK’s biggest brands including Ted Baker, Mulberry and Ralph Lauren to drive traffic to their sites and increase footfall to store. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a social media strategy, designing weekly newsletters and producing advertorials.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Writing fashion and beauty editorial content in line with Shopological’s tone of voice.
- Using Wordpress to create shoppable content and updating the Shopological site daily with new high-street and online sales.
- Using Photoshop to ensure that visuals are in keeping with the season and brand image.
- Creating visuals for on-site competitions using Photoshop.
- Curating content and designing visuals for the weekly Shopological sales newsletter as well as using the Shopological newsletter dashboard to schedule them. Training will be provided.
- Developing a social media strategy and updating the social media calendar.
- Scheduling social media posts across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter that are in line with Shopological’s tone of voice.
- Assisting the Marketing Manager by scheduling social media to support campaigns.
- Regularly update the Marketing Manager with campaign performance stats.
- Using affiliate marketing to track social referral to clients.

REQUIRED SKILLS
- 1-3 years’ experience in an editorial capacity.
- Excellent writing skills and ability to sub-edit and proof read.
- Must be willing to hit the ground running from day one.
- Interest in the UK’s retail industry and extensive knowledge of high-street and designer brands.
- Photoshop
- CMS, Wordpress

NICE TO HAVE
- Experience compiling newsletters.
- A good sense of initiative when it comes to taking sole responsibility for Shopological’s social media platforms.
- Apt at thinking both creatively and analytically in order to evaluate data and identify which brands resonate with Shopological’s audience.
