An established chartered practice based in South East London with well over 25 year's professional experience are recruiting. The firm have provided professional advisory since 1984, offering such services as Audit, Taxation and Payroll.

Due to the heavy demands on the business the practice find themselves in need of a Payroll Specialist.

Your responsibilities:

  • Payroll processing for a variety of clients working as part of a team
  • Accurate collating and entering all payroll data on system
  • Assisting with other payroll work in the event of holiday/sickness of other absence of other team members
  • Responding to routine enquiries on payroll matters by telephone, email and letter
  • Liaison with clients, pension providers, HMRC and other bodies
  • Completion of year end declarations
  • HMRC RTI Submissions
  • Preparing and submitting CIS returns
  • Liaising with clients to request information to prepare their payroll
  • Calculating and advising clients of their PAYE liabilities
  • Advising client's regarding Auto-Enrolment requirements and dealing with these on their behalf
  • Setting up PAYE schemes
  • Communicating with HMRC to resolve any payroll related issues

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience with payroll processing is necessary
  • Knowledge of Sage Payroll is preferred
  • The ability to communicate in English (both written and verbal) is essential
