Overview


Night Zookeeper is looking for a Sales and Marketing Director to lead it’s ambitious global growth plans.

The ideal candidate will have experience marketing edtech products to primary school teachers and parents across the world. They will additionally have experience marketing games and apps to parents and children and understand what both teachers and parents are looking for.

Role

In this role you will be responsible for planning and the delivery of a digital marketing strategy to reach teachers around the world. You will sit as part of the management team, reporting on the ROI of the various campaigns to help plan company strategy, including product development and new business opportunities.

The ultimate objective of this role is to build a strong and robust brand and awareness of it, drive teacher registrations and encourage retention and repeat business.

You will work closely with the Managing Director to execute the annual strategy and liaise with the design and technology team to bring projects from concept to fruition.

It is important that you are a generalist marketer with knowledge of all disciplines, PR, social, digital and CRM.

Commercial and analytical skills a must. You must demonstrate a history of campaign ROI and how you would approach briefing a new campaign and measuring real success.

The role is a combination of strategy and campaign analysis, alongside executing day to day tasks such as managing a customer support team. You shouldn’t be averse to ‘doing the doing’. This is a hands-on role in an entrepreneurial business so you should not be averse to getting stuck into the detail.

You will pick up and manage our CRM system - managing a Community specialist to ensure our CRM is robust and delivers business objectives.

Develop the brand and meet with potential partners, generating awareness amongst all stakeholders; media, school, parents, manufacturers, and retailers.

Work collaboratively with the Operations team to ensure all disciplines are supported and aligned

Ensure internal communications are regular, relevant and timely

Manage the sales team in achieving their sales target by ensuring collateral and comms for major campaigns are effective and ready on time.
