THE ROLE

We’re looking for an ambitious PPC and paid media expert to make sure we get our platform and services in front of all the major players that impact on the start-up world.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this role is a fantastic opportunity to build and execute a strategy across all advertising platforms. You’ll be backed by a substantial budget, with creative and analytical support. Your work will directly impact our growth and the future of Beauhurst at an exciting time for the company.

There’s also significant opportunity to develop the role further - including expanding the team that supports you and using contract and agency resources as appropriate.

In this role, you’ll:

- Develop and execute a paid media strategy to drive qualified leads for Sales at a target cost per lead/CPA
- Use and manage a portfolio of tools to help you make the most of our ad budget
- Use data and analysis to drive performance
- Develop and maintain a solid reporting structure
- Set and monitor budget with Head of Marketing
- Manage CRO, A/B testing and landing page optimisation with Communication Design Manager
- Implement best practice across paid media campaigns
- Get feedback from the client-facing team to inform future campaigns and optimisation

ABOUT YOU

Perhaps you’re a PPC specialist working for an agency and you’re tired of skipping between clients instead of having the time to deliver for them. Or maybe you’re a client-side B2B marketer experienced in one or more paid channels, looking for an exciting, specialist role at a fast-growing company.

Either way, we’re looking for someone with a clear idea of how to build highly-targeted campaigns that deliver returns, and experience supporting their ideas with data.

What we’re looking for:

ESSENTIAL

You’ll have:

- Successfully run ad campaigns on at least one of the following platforms: Google Ads/GDN, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter (either in an agency or in-house)
- Used various ad formats including search, display, retargeting, programmatic
- Written impactful and succinct ad and landing page copy
- Worked with a creative team or designers to develop conversion-optimised landing pages
- Extensively used Google Analytics to monitor overall digital performance and find routes for optimisation
- Used spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets/Numbers) to analyse data in detail
- Managed an advertising budget
- Built and managed performance and ROI reports
- Exceeded challenging KPIs

You’ll be:

- An excellent problem-solver and critical thinker
- Highly numerate and comfortable with analysis, forecasting and calculations
- Interested in startups, disruption and growing businesses

DESIRABLE

- Significant B2B experience
- Google or other ads certification
- Knowledge of SEM and SEO and integrating campaigns between organic and paid search
- Experience using marketing automation platforms (Hubspot, Marketo etc)
- Experience using data analysis platforms eg Google Data Studio, Tableau
- Experience using A/B testing and landing page building tools eg Google Optimise, Unbounce, Wordpress
- Experience marketing a SaaS product or business software
