Opogo – Head of Marketing

We need a Head of Marketing to support the Go to market strategy for an incredibly exciting scale up in the Education sector. We need you to pursue aggressive growth metrics at this exciting time in our journey towards achieving our vision of transforming the lives of everyone in education.

You will report directly to the CRO and work closely with the CEO.

If you have the start up mentality and growth attitude we would love to hear from you. Previous experience scaling marketing at fast growth consumer apps is a must.

Opogo is a community platform designed to help schools attract and retain the talent that’s right for them. Our social hub is packed with rich content from our community experts. And through our ever-evolving Smart Match technology, teachers can be booked for work simply and quickly.

We have been described as the ‘Linkedin for Education’ and partner schools have described booking teachers is as easy as using Uber. We have similar global growth ambitions as well.

You will:

• Define Marketing Vision and oversee strategy for customer acquisition; be responsible for inbound lead generation to meet sales goals
• Oversee the 12 Month Content Calendar including video, blogs, events, influencer programme, experts programme and ambassador programme
• Report directly into CRO
• Oversee and manage PR, Paid advertising, SEO, content and growth strategy
• Deliver consistent channel growth and performance optimisations
• Want to build out a team of digital and growth marketeers
• Advise on and manage annual marketing budgets
• Work with existing growth agency
• Deliver highly relevant and effective email campaigns
• Provide regular, accurate and detailed weekly reporting to CRO

We care about content so much we have our own small filming studio in the office!!Here our members come in and share stories, experiences and expertise. We have relationships with producers and editors to make sure it’s high quality.

We need you to work with our brand ambassadors/influencers and help them raise their profile.

• We want you to respect our AARRR Marketing metrics – Acquisition – Activation – Retention -Referral – Revenue and be data driven in your approach
• Helping scale and automate the growth processes our critical to our success

• We are based at Wework, Bishopsgate 5 mins walk from Liverpool Street making central line and central easy to get to. Great gyms nearby and awesome places to eat.
