We love our products, we think each one is as remarkable as the next. We also love data. Almost as much as some of our chairs and tables… almost.

Swoon Editions is not your typical retail business, almost every decision we make has a foundation in data. We want to analyse the performance of our current range, identify where there is demand we are not fulfilling in existing categories and where we can grow into new categories.

You will be tasked with solving all these challenges and a lot more. There will be an onus to really take control of the data within our product range, working closely with different areas of the business and presenting your findings and recommendations.

Previous retail experience is not essential, but if you love data and wants to do things differently then this might just be the role for you.

What we are looking for:

Highly numerate - likely to have a good degree in a STEM subject
Strong excel/google sheets skills - you will comfortably be able to navigate your way around Index matches and pivot tables. Any more is a bonus
Able to handle cleaning and reconciling large amounts of data from various sources, whilst still being a champion for data integrity
Obsessive about detail - precision is needed to ensure accurate recommendations and forecasts are filtered through the business
Comfort with ambiguity - we don’t have all the answers, but we need to find them out and you will need to drive that
Persuasive and convincing communicator - you can present your thoughts clearly and succinctly
Drive process adherence and be comfortable voicing doubts and concerns
Experience with Keynote/Powerpoint a bonus but not necessary
Experience with creating repeatable processes a bonus but not necessary

Private medical cover
Free gym membership
Pension scheme
Friends and family discounts

About Swoon Editions

Swoon Editions is one of the UK’s fastest growing furniture brands. Established in 2012, and backed by Index Ventures (Deliveroo, Dropbox) and Octopus Investments (Zoopla, Secret Escapes), we’re on a mission to be a global online furniture brand; making homes remarkable through distinctive design, beautiful craft and fair prices.

We launch new designs several times a week to our growing community of ‘Insiders’ (email subscribers). Product launches are communicated through daily and weekly emails, with each design first produced in a very limited quantity of 10-20 pieces. Using real-time sales data, we test demand very quickly and then scale production on only the most popular pieces.
