About the Company

We are a fast growing startup based in Old Street (London), and we’re taking on a big challenge: the ‘Housing Crisis’.

Our product vastly improves the process of finding land to build new homes on, and it’s loved by hundreds of experienced property developers as well as a range of people who are new to the industry.

Our vision is backed by the same investors behind Love Film, TransferWise, Zoopla, Shazaam and Property Partner. Real issues, real tech, underpinned by a real economic opportunity.

We hold it in high importance to build a great team, and this role will work closely with the founders as well as the wider team on conception and vision. We want bright people that can build on the firm foundations we have put in place.

About your mission

Our product is selling like hot cakes in the property industry. This means we’ve come up against some interesting challenges - how we maintain and grow 600+ data sources? How do we scrape, process and store terabytes of data without breaking the bank or our app? You’ll play a big part in scaling up our data infrastructure.

You’ll take ownership of our infrastructure and roadmap for the constant improvement of the product’s platform, provisioning, monitoring, ops standards and tooling. Your AWS experience will mean you know how to optimise our stack, slash costs and adopt best practices.

We’re using AWS Batch, Lambda, SQS and a medley of other tools to automate our data pipelines. You’ll eat this for lunch and move straight onto automating testing processes for dessert. You'll find it a challenging and rewarding experience being part of a scale-up business. You'll be a big part of this growth journey making sure our infrastructure grows with the needs of the business.
