The successful candidate will be a strong all-rounder and understand all aspects of a parts department, from goods-in processes, parts identification, order processes, perpetual stock checking, stock rotation, parts returns and liaising with Service over parts related matters. You will be customer focused and able to prioritise your workload to ensure you meet customer and internal expectations. What can we offer you? Parts Advisor Responsibilities: As a Parts Advisor, you will be targeted to achieve daily individual sales and profit targets through the effective use of resources and to pro-actively maintain and develop the branch sales and profitability by value added selling and enhancing customer relationships. You will also be responsible for: Build long-term relationships with local customers Exceed daily financial targets Take orders over the telephone and up-sell to increase invoice value Make targeted outbound calls to raise customer awareness and achieve sales Actively promote offers, discounts and customer competitions Limit credits and returns by sending the right parts, first time Become an essential, trusted part of your customers business The ideal Parts Advisor: Positive, customer focused attitude and approach to your work Good telephone manner Excellent customer service skills Knowledge and experience of car parts and enjoy building relationships with customers and staff Ideally you will have experience using electronic parts catalogues and ideally a DMS such as Kerridge.
