Interim Manufacturing Manager - Maidenhead, Berkshire
Natasha Young at CK Group is recruiting for an Interim Manufacturing Manager to join a company in the Pharmaceutical industry at their site based in Maidenhead on a contract basis for six to twelve months with a rate of up to £53 per hour, dependant upon experience. The Location: Maidenhead is a large town in Berkshire which is situated on the south-western bank of the famous River Thames. This town offers many amenities and is only 31 miles away from the capital city of London. The Role: The Interim Manufacturing Manager will manage and provide oversight to a series of projects associated with currently marketed OTC finished dose products within the manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities include: Ø Evaluate the potential impact of proposed changes on quality and efficacy Ø Ensure that current pharmacopeial requirements are met where applicable Ø Perform and support raw material evaluation and qualification Ø Actively participate in the Tech Transfer Team Ø Contribute expertise on product and process engineering. Ø Develop product development strategies for current products on market Ø Actively participate in the selection, due diligence and evaluation of Third Party partners Ø Maintain necessary good manufacturing practice (GMP) skills through training, technical review and SOPs Your Background: To succeed in this role, you will have a proven background in a pharmaceutical manufacturing or product development environment with a major emphasis on multi-ingredient finished dose formulations. You will have experience with non-prescription ingredients used in cough, cold & allergy preparations and analgesics is a distinct advantage and comprehensive understanding of quality compliance knowledge within EU and good understanding of GxP systems.
