Experienced sales professional required for this International Sales Executive role. Our client is based in the Poole area and requires an experienced sales professional to join their International Sales Team. Whilst this role will be largely office based, there will be some travel required (mostly international).
***Please note all applicants for this role should hold a full, valid UK drivers licence and have their own car. From time to time, the role will require international travel and applicants will need to be flexible and happy to be away from home for a few days at any one time.***
Our client distributes a range of Hardware products and consumables both in the UK and internationally. They are looking to expand their International Sales team and require a bright and determined individual who has extensive sales experience (preferably channel sales) to take on the challenge of further developing their international market and distributor / dealer channels . Whilst extensive product training will be given, the ideal candidate will have previous field sales experience. If you have an affinity with new gadgets and technology then this would be a significant benefit.
You will be a dynamic, motivated individual who wishes to progress your pro-active sales experience into a career in International Sales/Channel Sales Management.
The role would suit a person who has a passion for sales as well as commercial acumen and understand turnover, gross profit and margins.
Full product training will be given and thereafter, the main focus of this international sales role will be to proactively prospect new distributors / dealers across Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia and Australasia as well as identify areas for development or improvement.
You will have good written and verbal communication with a good working knowledge of Word, Outlook and Excel. You will also know how to use What's App and SKYPE.
A full and valid driving licence and passport is essential as there will be a level of travel with this role. The role will develop in the future and allow for someone to travel to potential distributors that you bring on board and account manage these - for this reason, candidates need to be prepared to be away from home for a few days at a time.
