Accounts Assistant wanted - Fabulous interior design practice/retailer
The Furniture Union are a boutique interior design practice and retailer based in Elephant and Castle. We have over 25 years of experience designing, supplying and working on interiors - ranging from furniture supply, interior design to full refurbishments. We are a fun office who work hard and play hard - a lot of the work we do means that we operate to tight deadlines and everyone must work together.
We are looking for an accounts assistant to join our accounts team. Making sure the money keeps flowing is critical - so you may be supporting a colleague chasing debts one day, or liaising with suppliers on another to ensure they get paid on time.
- Co-ordination and processing of invoices
- Liaising with suppliers
- Raising purchase orders
- Checking pricing
- Creating and issuing invoices
- Supporting other members of the accounts team as needed.
You will be an enthusiastic team player who is used to 'mucking in' in a small business environment. Experience working as a book-keeper or accounts assistant is essential as we want someone who can get up to speed quickly. Experience using SAGE 50, or other SAGE packages is desirable but not essential. Good communication is crucial as you will be speaking with clients, suppliers and the rest of the team on a daily basis.
You will be working in our beautiful showroom - a converted warehouse turned office/showroom in SE17. Our working hours are 9am - 6pm Monday-Friday.
