IT Support Technician Commutable from - Chester, Wrexham, Shrewsbury, Whitchurch, Oswestry. Salary – up to £28,000 (Dependant on Experience). My client are an innovative IT Managed Services Company that are going through some large periods of growth; and are looking for an IT Support Technician to support and deliver great service to their customers. The role of the IT Support Technician will vary between utilising technically skills and providing excellent customer service to clients. Responsibilities of an IT Support Technician – •Delivery / Installation of new equipment at client’s sites. •Management of both hardware and software. •Installation and management of firewalls / recovery. •Fault management / resolution. •Remote solution support – VPN’s. •Maintenance of remote monitoring / management services. •Work through ticketing system / utilise escalation points when necessary. •Ability to match resources to technical issues. Skills of an IT Support Technician – •Windows Server. •Active Directory. •Exchange. •Citrix. •VMWare. •Microsoft Office – all Packages. •Group Policy. Profile of an IT Support Technician – •Good communication skills – both in person and on the telephone. •Ability to self-develop. •Self-motivated. •Proactive. •Enthusiastic. •Problem-solver / trouble-shooter.
