Finance Administrator 

Our client is a manufacturer and distributor of horticultural additives destined for the European market. The company can be characterised as having an informal company culture with a flat structure which has always had a positive effect on their flexibility. 

Position: Finance Administration Assistant 
Location: Oldbury, Birmingham 
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent 
Salary: £17,000 per annum 


- Book incoming invoices, employs amounts calculated after, compare the generated purchase orders and invoices let it approved by the responsible person 
- Periodic invoices, print them out and takes care of the shipment. Monitor payments from debtors. Send statements and / or payment reminders 
- Provide optimal management of cash. Keep a minimum balance of payment accounts to meet current obligations 
- Treat debtors who refuse or can not pay in consultation with the director and the responsible representative 
- Set the declarations for VAT, sales tax and income tax 
- Allow for regular financial statements and management reports including budgets, forecasts, balances etc. and light these summary statements 
- Order entry 
- Ensures efficient phone traffic 
- A friendly welcome from the visitors 
- Send and retrieve mail 
- Ensures payment of invoices 
-The timely disclosure of inaccuracies and ambiguities 
- Proper processing of data in the system 
- Carry out various and other administrative activities (arranging insurance, arranging internet, archiving of documents and financial documents, etc., etc.) 
- Consult for further reminders or other actions and ensure the sending of the reminders 
- Is responsible for the entire financial administration 
- Other activities that prohibit this function 

About you: 

- Previous experience in a financial administration role 
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills 
- Proven track record of time management, organisation and problem solving skills 
- AAT training and knowledge of Control of Contractor would be desirable
