ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Working closely with a wide range of long standing clients, the responsibilities of this role will include (but not limited to): Ensure all accounting and performance reports are delivered in an accurate and timely manner in line with business demands. Prepare statutory accounts on behalf of a wide ranging client base which includes organisations within Engineering, FMCG, Family Businesses and Trusts. Assist in carrying out audits and work closely with tax advisers. Carry out the preparation and submission of VAT returns and compliance with relevant regulations and deadlines. Communicate and interact with clients to further foster these relations and support re distributions, tax returns and annual accounts. Ensure that procedures, practices and systems are operated, maintained and developed. Support colleagues on an ad hoc basis. PERSON SPECIFICATION Our client is keen to bring on board a professional with the following experience: Part Qualified, QBE or Newly Qualified Accountant or at the final stages of completing a professionals qualification (ICAS, ACCA). Experience of working within a practice environment would be preferred. A well-rounded team player with excellent communication skills in supporting colleagues.
