Your role is to develop a deep understanding of our market and our customers, and to use that knowledge to manage the go-to-market for new products and help grow our existing products.

You’ll play a key role in our small but growing Marketing team. This is a hands-on role; you’ll be working closely with stakeholders across Marketing, Product and Sales, setting the foundations as the first Product Marketer at Nested. We believe a great product is the strongest marketing tool you can have, and it’s your job to help us develop that product and to help us market it effectively.

On a day-to-day basis you will:

Invest time in building an in-depth understanding of our customers with an ability to understand their needs and desires.
Lead on the go-to-market and positioning of new and existing products. Your ultimate goal is to help our customers understand the difference our products can make in their lives.
Be the voice of the customer across the business. Use your deep insight to help other teams make better decisions with the customer front of mind.
Own how we communicate about the product across the customer journey. You’ll combine qualitative and quantitative insights with the objective of clearly communicating what Nested do, in a way that resonates with customers.
Tackle projects like a How it Works video, building customer personas and articulating complex aspects of the proposition (e.g. pricing).

We think you’ll probably:
Have experience of leading a product launch and being an effective Product Marketer.
Have natural empathy that puts the customer at the heart of your problem solving.
Be excited about gathering insights from data, internal stakeholders, meeting our customers face-to-face and more.
Relish the opportunity to define the positioning of Nested and the opportunity to create a whole new category of company within the property industry.
Be a great writer and be able to use your customer insight to articulate something very complex in a simple way that resonates with our target market.
Be a positive team player who builds strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.
Have 4+ years experience in a Marketing or Product role

Things which would be useful but not essential:
A passion for all things property
Experience with content management systems
Experience in an early stage start-up
