Apprenticeship Assessor - Adult Learning Field Based (Covering sites across Canterbury, Kent) Do you have a background in education and previous managerial experience? The Company Our client is recruiting on behalf of a private Training Provider that specialises in the education sector. They are now looking for an Apprenticeship Assessor to join their team and support the training of School Business Managers in sites across Canterbury. The Benefits - Salary of up to £30,000 DOE - Help the minds of tomorrow within your industry to perform at their best - Excellent learning and development opportunities - Develop your career with a forward-thinking Training Provider - Mileage allowance (40p per mile) - Laptop - Phone The Role As an Apprenticeship Assessor, you’ll assess School Business Managers who are completing apprenticeships through the ILM (Institute of Leadership & Management). Supporting adult learners across Canterbury, you will: - Carry out initial and diagnostic assessments, including Functional Skills - Deliver inductions and training - Liaise with employers regarding the delivery of on-programme and end-point assessments - Coach and develop Apprentices in-line with Apprenticeship Standards - Ensure that all documentation complies with funding body standards About You To be considered as an Apprenticeship Assessor, you’ll need: - Experience of working in a school as a manager or School Business Manager - Previous experience of working at managerial level - An interest OR experience in assessing apprenticeships - Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ideally, you will have an assessor’s qualification, such as A1, but this isn’t essential, as training will be provided. Other companies may call this role Training Assessor, Assessor, Regional Training Assessor, Regional Apprenticeship Assessor, L&D Co-ordinator, Training Co-ordinator, School Business Manager Assessor or School Business Assessor.
