Purpose of Role:
To own and support the seamless accounting operation of Rosa’s to help optimise the profitability of the business.
Manage the company’s external accountants to ensure they perform their services promptly, carefully and efficiently including oversight of their cash and credit card reconciliation duties.
Process the company’s fortnightly payment run.
Oversight of accounts email inbox.
Oversight of uploading invoices on to the company’s digital document management system.
Weekly approvals of invoices.
Weekly P&L preparation for conference call with the company’s managers
Oversight of company credit card reconciliation
Reconcile gross margin information from the company’s monthly accounts to the company’s stock management system.
Must have qualifications and attributes:
At least 3 years’ experience of working in an accounts function
An ambition to learn and expand your horizons.
Well organised and self-disciplined approach to getting things done and working efficiently.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Likes working with numbers and people.
Positive can-do attitude and an ability to get on well with people from different cultures and backgrounds.
Passion and understanding of the Thai culture and culinary heritage.
Customer service management.
Education - at least 6 GCSEs. A-Levels or a degree are not necessary but would be looked upon favourably.
Financial qualifications - Ideally suited for qualified/part-qualified AAT, though others would also be considered
For the right candidate, there will be plenty of scope to progress and develop within the organisation
On target earnings starting between £25,000 - £30,000 per year depending on experience.
