We have an opportunity for someone with a keen interest in IT Support to work for an IT and Software company in Brighton in a Junior Helpdesk role.

You will be given training on top of your experience and qualifications in IT to become involved in:

* Supporting customers’ IT environments and the availability of applications

* Ensure high standards of customer service at all times

* Installing, configuring, maintaining and upgrading computer hardware, operating systems and applications

* Performing analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of computer hardware and OS issues

* Receiving and responding to incoming calls and e-mails regarding problems with computers, hardware and software

* Setting up new users using Azure / Active Directory, Office 365

* Resetting passwords and changing file and directory permissions

You’ll need good technical knowledge of Windows OS, Office, Antivirus and Backup applications and ideally some experience with Office 365.

Strong customer service experience or skills is essential as is a keen interest in an IT Support role. Ideally you’ll have experience within a Windows-based environment or hold relevant qualifications such as a relevant Degree, a Microsoft qualification or equivalent.

Hours are Monday to Friday 8am – 4.15pm and 9.45am-6.30pm on a rota basis and the annual salary is £20,000 which will rise to £22,000 upon successful completion of 6 months training and probation.
