Repair Technician

Our client is looking for candidates with a genuine, strong interest in repairing smart phones to develop their skills or are looking to develop their skills gained from previous similar roles.

The responsibilities of the Repair Technician will be to:

* Consistently ensure that the efficiency and quality of each repair processed is to an extremely high standard.

* Maintain a clean and organised work station at all times.

* Meet daily expected output targets.

* Perform preliminary functional test to reproduce fault/s

* Carry out fault finding between software and hardware fault

* Carry out Level 2 wearable parts replacement

* Carry out on-board component rework where required.

* Carry out final functional test to ensure a good quality of repair is met

* Accurately record all work completed within internal systems

The ideal Repair Technician candidates will have:

* Experience of component and electronic repair on high end mobile phones such as connectors, LCDs, flex, cameras and all glass repair for Apple and Samsung mobile devices.

* Good soldering and rework skills

* Up to date knowledge of modern technology

* Experience of working within a targeted, fast-paced environment

* Good communication skills

* Ability to work fasts and efficiently

Our client are looking for general electronic repair experiene and transferable skills. They are willing to train the mobile phone technician skills and will be offering a 16.5K starting salary rising to 18K after the 3 month probabtionary period is passed for non mobile phone experience
