Do you have the experience and drive to become a 3rd line Technical support engineer. Telent are looking for candidates that have a passion for IT as well as strong customer service skills to ensure we maintain and develop out ICT environment and Technical support services for our customers.

Role Profile

You will be responsible for providing 3rd Line technical support as well as the maintenance of the ICT environment such as patching, hotfixes, software upgrades and training. Within the role you will focus on troubleshooting, problem solving and using your technical ability to support the ICT systems and applications to solve any issues quickly and efficiently. We focus on identifying, preventing and resolving all issues that adversely affect our customers.

Conduct third line Technical support to resolve technical incidents and requests

Travel to customer sites to provide technical support
*

To deliver the highest level of customer service
*

To enhance and develop the current processes and procedures
*

Provide problem management by ensuring you use all the information to hand
*

Identify, prevent and resolve all issues
*

Maintain a high level of technological competence

Skills

*

Experience within a similar or appropriate industry
*

ITIL foundation or practitioner
*

Ability to obtain full SC and police level clearance
*

Full UK driving licence
*

Experience and able to demonstrate ability of:

Microsoft packages
*

Bespoke application support
*

SUSE Lunix
*

Exchange, SharePoint & Lync products
*

Anti-virus software deployments
*

MDM software

Behavioural Skills

Able to keep calm under pressure

Strong customer focus

Excellent communication skills

Excellent eye for detail and organisational skills
