Do you want to be part of a vibrant and dynamic team? St John’s Hospice is looking for a driven and experienced Philanthropy Executive to support in generating income to keep our vital services running.

Working as part of the fundraising team, you will Implement the highest standards of donor care, supporting the Philanthropy Manager and Director of Fundraising and Marketing.

Supported by the Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth and located in leafy St John’s Wood, St John’s Hospice is the only independent hospice in Central London and treats over 3,000 terminally ill patients and their families each year for free.

Key Responsibilities

* To support the implementation of creative solicitation plans to maximise donor engagement and income.

* To support the development of high quality materials, appeal letters and reports, work with the Philanthropy Manager to secure income for special projects tailored to donor requirements.

* To work closely with colleagues across the Hospice and wider fundraising team to develop excellent relationships with donors.

* To support the development of relationships with new donors. Work with the Philanthropy Manager and Director of Fundraising and Marketing to create special stewardship opportunities.

* Supporting fundraising events and maintaining excellent records.

* Representing the Charity with the Philanthropy Manager internally and through external events.
