The Job

As part of the Professional Services team, the BI Analyst will support multiple project implementations to ensure the Sales teams are set up for success with agreed data volumes and good reporting capability. As a relationship point between the project team, the Customer Success sales team and the Customer, the role will help drive increased retention through customer satisfaction. A key part of this role is to support the ramp period for an account, ensuring the team understand and adopt the reporting suite as the Customer Success team transition from project go-live through to full scale account delivery. Being able to relate to the business outcomes for a service delivery account, focus on detail and an attitude to drive to a successful outcome in a high pressure environment are key requirements.

The BI Analyst will provide a vertical bridge through knowledge management by supporting the processing, obtaining, cleaning, organizing, relating and cataloging source data to create business intelligence. He/She will work with both internal and external stakeholders up to exec level to ensure alignment on expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Engage in project discovery sessions to ensure reporting requirements have been appropriately scoped out, and that the defined data model will support the requirements

* Ensure reporting requirements address the business outcomes defined for the account

* Engage with key Stakeholders to ensure the reporting requirements fulfil the needs of the account at all levels from exec to sales reps

* Build of the reporting suite om multiple platforms (CRM, BW, Tableau)

* Transition of the reporting suite, and the related data set, to the sales team. A key focus on user adoption is essential.

* Support the sales team through the ‘ramp’ period as the account transitions from implementation to steady state operation

* Triage and support the resolution of any issues

* Collaboration with the client on a regular basis to ensure their needs are met and the reporting suite is appropriately deployed, where necessary with a Client accessed reporting portal

* Delivery of the reporting suite in line with business metrics is key to ensure the reporting is outcome focused

Required Qualifications

Bachelor degree, preferably in computer science or Finance, or equivalent, or 8+ years of experience in data related roles, business analytics, dashboard design experience (preferably supporting a sales organization but not essential).

* Ability to meet many deadlines. Being able to juggle it all is crucial to the job

* Positive “can do” attitude and highly analytical; enjoys challenges

* Excellent communication skills – verbal and written

* Detail oriented and comfortable working with large data sets

* Proven track record demonstrating an aptitude to analyse trends, compile data into comprehensive reports, and making recommendations based off findings

* Proven knowledge and effective use of MS office applications

* Demonstrated high level of proficiency in CRM, MS office (advanced Excel), SQL and Tableau (or similar)
