We are currently looking for an exceptional and experience Web Developer to work as part of the Core Assets Group central Marketing team supporting the delivery of online, digital and content marketing initiatives, to support the growth of the businesses.

We would require someone to develop close working relationships with all internal stakeholders, acting as the first point of contact for the updates and additions to the business websites.

Responsibilities include:

* Support the growth of new business through continuous website improvement.

* Works alongside the Head of Marketing to set a clear web strategy for all businesses with the Core Assets Group.

* Meet with marketing colleagues and internal stakeholders to determine website needs and follows up with regular conversations and updates.

* Be involved in the full lifecycle of a product from initial requirements analysis through to design, development, testing and deployment of websites.

* Create website layout wireframes to organise information and allow for intuitive usage.

* Work alongside the designer to incorporate graphics and video elements into the sites.

* Determine the best plug-ins and applications to provide websites with new features and functionality, and installs them accordingly.

* Tests websites using a variety of browsers, including Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Safari, and Mozilla Firefox; and debugs as necessary.

* Maintain fluency in one or more programming languages, such as HTML.

* Regularly check in with stakeholders to assess their satisfaction, determine necessary updates and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

* Provides A/B testing and monitoring for continuous improvement for quality enquiries to all businesses.

* Monitor and manage the companies hosting supplier and SLA.

* Monitor key competitors’ websites for content and development changes.

* Assist the marketing team with publishing content by proofreading, editing, and posting text and uploading graphics.

* Maintain websites by checking for errors, broken links, and hacking attempts.

* Develop and maintains knowledge of website accessibility standards and legal requirements.

* Assesse website security and installs updated software to ensure that websites and client data remain secure.

* Monitor Google Analytics and report to Head of Marketing on statistics and make clear recommendations for improvement.

Expertise and skills we are looking for.

* At least 3 years’ experience.

* Fluent in HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

* Experienced in using Libraries and Frameworks.

* Creative skillset for contributing new and innovative ideas to the website.

* Strong organisational skills and communication skills a must.

* Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

* Capacity to prioritise and work on multiple projects.
