We are looking to recruit on a permanent basis, an Investment Performance Analyst for a leading global wealth and investment organisation. We need an experienced Analyst who has the relevant technical and communication skills demonstrated through previous experience in a similar role at another financial services provider.

The Investment Performance Analyst will provide regular detailed performance analysis of the global investment divisions multi-asset portfolios in line with their best practice through comparison to their Proprietary Strategic Asset Allocation models (SAA) and attribute relative performance appropriately; including but not limited to allocation, selection, market timing and currency effects.

The role holder must:
- Have a strong analytical approach, including high degree of numerical and quantitative competency combined with accuracy.
- Have relevant experience in performance/risk measurement (Operations, Front Office or Technology)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills including the ability to deal with complex issues in a sensitive and appropriate manner
- Act as a resource for projects and has the ability to identify issues and a plan of action to resolve or mitigate those issues
- High level of written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts to be understood by a non-technical audience
- Fully proficient with Global Investment Performance standards (GIPS) and Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulations around performance calculations' and reporting

Professional/technical experience:
- Proven capability and knowledge of equity and / or fixed income based attribution performance measurement skills and composite calculation methodologies and rules.
- Experience of working closely with investors and research groups and an ability to forge strong working relationships
- Possess a high degree of IT skills including MS Excel, MS Access and VBA scripting

Academic and professional qualifications
- Educated to a minimum of graduate level; Accreditation like CFA/CIPM is also highly desirable.
