Business Development Manager, ASM, Sales Executive. £38,000- £45,000 basic salary. £50k++ ote. Quality car, excellent pension, superb training, support and career prospects.

- THE COMPANY;

- Our client is a leading distributor of flat and pitched roofing products. Selling 10's of thousands of products, these include;

- Roof tiles, slates, roof lights, insulation, fixings, timbers, GRP, Liquid coatings, single ply, liquid waterproofing. Used in commercial and domestic new build and refurb projects.

- THE ROLE;

- This is a senior position, where you'll be the flat roofing expert across London and the South East.

- You will identify, target and develop customer sales opportunities across your region.

- You will provide expert knowledge and technical support to your external sales team and internal branch colleagues.

- You will propose and agree a range of stock profiles for the branches that you represent across your region.

- You will be selling flat roofing products into roofing contractors, house builders, maintenance companies and property developers.

- You will work closely with customers to provide valuable advice and assistance with various specifications and build stages.

- You will work closely with the manufacturers that you represent, facilitating training sessions with contractors and your branch team.

- You will be gaining specifications and then back-selling via your branch network.

- You will maintain and develop relationship with your roofing contractors as well as gaining new contacts and business.

- THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE;

- You will have a good understanding of the roofing industry, ideally having worked either for a manufacturer, distributor or roofing contractor.

- You will have a track record of sales success, be a good communicator and team player.

- You will have strong knowledge of the construction industry and build cycle.

- You will have good leadership skills as this is a key role in the business.

- You will have excellent problem solving and solution selling skills.

- Experience of training others is advantageous.

- You will have the ability to think strategically about your customers business and put forward innovative and value-add sales propositions.

- THE REMUNERATION;

- £38,000- £45,000 basic, dependent on experience

- Up to 25% bonus

- Up to 7.5% pension contribution

- Quality company car, such as Mercedes C Class or equivalent
