Art Teacher Person Specification

This vacancy is designed for a gifted Art Teacher and would suit an experienced teacher or NQT. You must have a positive approach to your teaching and effective classroom presence. You must show the ability to deliver fun and effective lessons and engage your students with your creative lessons. You must possess a solid grasp of the latest teaching techniques and practices used to deal with any bad or challenging behaviour in the class.

About the Art Teacher Role

As an Art Teacher you will be teaching within the school's ambitious Arts Department and you will be teaching alongside a friendly and welcoming Headteacher. In general, you will be delivering outstanding lessons whilst utilising the schools excellent 21st century resources. Part of your role will include receiving ample training and professional development from an extensive list of schemes that has cultivated some exceptional leaders. The popularity of the Art Department has soared and you will also be teaching the 6th form classes of the department. You will be fortunate enough to be working with extensive resources and you will find that the leadership team are readily available.
