The Operational Account Manager Role:

Reporting to the Operations Director you will be responsible for a specific customer(s) and work closely with the operational team as required to deliver the services as part of the strategic customer plan.

The Operational Account Manager is responsible for representing the organisation and ensuring that our service level commitments to our customers is achieved, robust action plans are implemented and our services are promoted. You will work closely with a number of business functions including Operations, Logistics, Customer Services, Sales, Marketing, IT, Legal and others as required.

The ideal candidate will be a driven and results-oriented individual with a positive outlook and a focus on the service delivery for each customer, and therefore increasing business value.

You must be an expert communicator both internally and externally as a direct escalation point for our customers.

About Your Skill & Abilities:

+ Experience of account management; developing and managing existing and newly formed business relationships
+ Expert communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
+ Expert Influencing and Facilitation Skills
+ Technologically adept
+ Commercial and budget understanding
+ Proven experience of meeting and exceeding targets
+ Ability to build a network of professional contacts (internal and external)
+ Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
+ Enthusiastic and driven with a desire to succeed
+ Advanced user of Microsoft Exel, Word, Powerpoint,
+ Familiar with operational systems such as AS400

Desired Skills/Experience:

+ Experience & knowledge of the Automotive industry
