Person Specification for SEN English Teacher
This PRU wants to meet an inventive SEN English Teacher who has previous experience working in inner city schools and some experience of teaching children with Special Educational Needs. The successful candidate will have a positive attitude in the classroom which encourages their pupils to achieve the high expectations them have set for them. The PRU wants an English Teacher who can meet the educational needs of every students and offer lessons based on an up-to-date knowledge of the adjusted curriculum.
About the SEN English Teacher Role
In this SEN English Teacher position you will be becoming an important part of the creative department and you will be coordinating your dedicated Teaching Assistant on hand. All new members of staff are given full support to help them settle in and your will be assigned a talented experienced SEN teacher to mentor your through the first few months. You will have the responsibility of taking on board the guidance of the HoDA Head of Department, who is keen to help new teachers settle in. Seeking to nurture and develop their teaching team, the SLT believe in offering ample opportunities for CPD and a comprehensive training scheme. Using the fantastic resources at your disposal, including the central resource library and interactive whiteboards, you will be able to enhance the learning experience of your SEN pupils in this PRU. You will have the chance to use some the department's excellent facilities and resources in your day-to-day teaching.

Many pupils represent a range of needs and difficulties which encompass behavior traits which may affect their learning.
