We are looking for a skilled SEMH Science Teacher who has the ability to work with young people who have a variety of special educational needs, giving particular attention to their social and behavioural as well as educational requirements.

About the Science Teacher Role
This Science Teacher position involves teaching and working as a crucial part of the DA Science faculty and you will be working in class in tandem with a highly capable teaching assistant. This PRU ensure all new members of staff receive extensive support for the leadership team from your first day to your last.
Your teaching will need to be dynamic to mix well with the current departmental philosophy which relies on new ideas. It is essential that Science Teacher chosen has excellent subject knowledge and can deliver Science at Entry Level & GCSE as well as having effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Person Specification – Science Teacher
To be considered for this role you must be a charismatic Science Teacher who has experience working with Special Educational Needs and 'English as an Additional Language' pupils and 2 years' teaching experience. Science teacher applicants must have an interest in Special Educational Needs and have a calm, patient, and resilient nature and a resolve to make a real difference to the lives of SEMH learners.
