Digital Marketing Manager

Role overview

The Digital Marketing Manager will be instrumental in driving our newly developed digital sales and marketing strategy for the business. Reporting to the Marketing Manager they will be a highly analytical person that has a proven experience in digital marketing with specific experience in lead generation activity online. The Digital Marketing Manager will work alongside the rest of the marketing team to ensure that they are embracing digital in every aspect of their role and to help bring them up to speed on the latest digital initiatives

Main duties will include the following:

  • SEO - determine current keyword rankings - identify products for page optimisation and search competition - optimise content and meta data, establish back links, define the search strategy and if relevant manage a third party to deliver
  • Website optimisation - drive the use of the Mayflex and Excel websites by existing and new customers - encourage regular use via online tutorials, activation campaigns etc
  • Targeted Marketing - Working with the relevant members of the sales and marketing team to create automated marketing campaigns to defined customer segments
  • Social Media - work with the team to drive effective campaigns to encourage more interaction and coverage and increase the number of followers
  • PPC and Remarketing - Set up effective campaigns using PPC and Remarketing to encourage traffic to the Mayflex and Excel Websites, as directed.
  • Digital campaign development process - Develop and execute campaign development process and associated tracking and reporting that is standardised across all campaigns
  • Tracking and Measurement - through google analytics and other relevant tools, track and measure the success of the websites, campaigns, competitors and other goals - provide the information in clear and concise reports

The person - You must have:

  • Recognised Digital Qualification
  • 4+ years in a Digital Marketing Role
  • Excellent Digital Copywriting Skills
  • Good knowledge of PPC and SEO
  • Experience of managing multi-channel digital marketing campaigns
  • Experience of marketing automation tools, CRM and e-commerce platforms
