Our client, a well-established and well-respected global Financial Services Firm, are looking to recruit a number of skilled Customer Service Advisers to join their Collections/Recoveries team in their offices based in Sheffield city centre.

The Company
Specialising in telephone based recoveries, this Firm have been operating in the South Yorkshire region for years, and are well known in the area for working closely with their customers to find effective and efficient solutions to get them back on track with their finances.

The Role
This is high energy, customer orientated role that requires a keen attention to detail and excellent levels of professionalism. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
* Dealing with customer complaints, queries, concerns and disputes in line with the company's policies/procedures.
* Working in partnership with customers in financial difficulty, acknowledging individual needs whilst managing expectations and adhering to company guidelines.
* Displaying excellent verbal and written communication to customers, responding to customers via telephone, email, letter and fax.
* Arranging Payment Plans with customers, discussing sensitive information and different solutions to get them where they need to be.
* Reporting back issues to your Team Leader.

The Candidate
Successful candidates must be able to effectively showcase a professional telephone manner, a passion for providing the best possible service to customers and the ability to empathise and sympathise with customers relating to their financial issues. You must be comfortable dealing with inbound and outbound calls and previous experience in a similar position, ideally within Financial Services, is desirable but not 100% necessary - candidates with minimum 1 year telephone based customer service experience are encouraged to apply. Due to the nature of the role and the business, candidates will ideally also be able to demonstrate previous experience in adhering to FCA/FSA guidelines, strong organisation and communication skills, as well as good time management skills.

The Reward
In return for your hard work and effort, our client is able to offer a competitive basic salary between £17,000 and £18,000 as well as a desirable bonus structure and attractive working hours.
